The Messiah would be the great "I am"

...And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers hath sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them? 14And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.

...The woman saith unto him, I know that Messiah cometh, which is called Christ: when he is come, he will tell us all things. Jesus saith unto her, I that speak unto thee am he. John 4:25.

The Messiah would be the seed of a woman.

...And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Genesis 3:15 Year 1400 b.C.

...But when the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law. Galatians 4:4, Luke 2:7 Revelation 12:5.

The Messiah would be a descendant of Abraham.

...Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? Genesis 18:18 Year 1400 b.C.

...Ye are the children of the prophets, and of the covenant which God made with our fathers, saying unto Abraham, And in thy seed shall all the kindred of the earth be blessed. Acts 3:25, Matthew 1:1, Luke 3:34. The seed was Christ.

The Messiah would be a descendant of Isaac.

...And God said, Sarah thy wife shall bear thee a son indeed; and thou shalt call his name Isaac: and I will establish my covenant with him for an everlasting covenant, and with his seed after him.

Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren. Matthew 1:2, Luke 3:34.

The Messiah would be the lamb of God.

...And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. Genesis 22:8 Year 1400 b.C.

...The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. John 1:29.

The Messiah would be a descendant of Jacob.

...I shall see him, but not now: I shall behold him, but not nigh: there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel, and shall smite the corners of Moab, and destroy all the children of Sheth. Numbers 24:17 Year 1400 b.C.

...Which was the son of Jacob, which was the son of Isaac, which was the son of Abraham, which was the son of Thara, which was the son of Nachor. Luke 3:34, Matthew 1:2.

The Messiah would be a descendant of the tribe of Juda.

...The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be. Genesis 49:10 Year 1400 b. C. Shiloh is a name of the Messiah. This is a prophecy of Jacob about his son Judah.

...Which was the son of Aminadab, which was the son of Aram, which was the son of Esrom, which was the son of Phares, which was the son of Juda, which was the son of Jacob. Luke 3:33, Matthew 1:2,3.

The Messiah would be the child born to us with a purpose of God.

The Messiah would be the Son of God given onto us.

The Messiah would be Wonderful.

The Messiah would be The mighty God.

The Messiah would be the everlasting Father.

The Messiah would be the Prince of Peace.

The Messiah would be the heir of the throne of David.

The Messiah would be born in Bethlehem.

...But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2 I recommend to read Ch. 5 completely. Year 735 b.C.

...Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem. Matthew 2:1, Luke 2:4.

The Messiah existed since eternity.

...But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting. Micah 5:2 Year 735 b.C.

...In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not... ...That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.  John 1.

Daniel prophesises the time of the birth of the Messiah.

...Know therefore and understand, that from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince shall be seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times. Daniel 9:25 Year 535 b.C.

...And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. 2(And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)
Luke 2:1&2.

The Messiah would be born of a virgin.

...Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 Year 700 b.C.

...Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on this wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:18, Luke 1:26.

Slaughter of children as martyrs for His cause in the coming of the Messiah.

...Thus saith Yahweh; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rachel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not. Jeremiah 31:15. Year 570 b.C.

...Then Herod, when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and in all the coasts thereof, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently enquired of the wise men. Matthew 2:16.

The Messiah would come from Egypt being a child.

...When Israel was a child, then I loved him, and called my son out of Egypt.
Hosea 11:1 Year 750 b.C.

...When he arose, he took the young child and his mother by night, and departed into Egypt. Matthew 2:14. Joseph is warned in dreams about the slaughter of the children.

The Messiah would be called Immanuel (God with us).

...Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. Isaiah 7:14 Year 700 b.C.

...Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23.

The Messiah would be announced by a forerunner who would prepare His way with the spirit of Elijah.

...The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of Yahweh, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of Yahweh shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of Yahweh hath spoken it. Isaiah 40:3 Year 700 b.C.

...Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of Yahweh. Malachi 4:5.

...He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Isaiah. John 1:23.

...And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come? And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought. But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him. Mark 9:11.

The Messiah who is the light of the world would visit Galilee of the gentiles.

...Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations. The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined. Isaiah 9:1 Year 700 a.C.

...Now when Jesus had heard that John was cast into prison, he departed into Galilee; And leaving Nazareth, he came and dwelt in Capernaum, which is upon the sea coast, in the borders of Zabulon and Nephthalim: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, The land of Zabulon, and the land of Nephthalim, by the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles; The people which sat in darkness saw great light; and to them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Matthew 4:12to16.

The Messiah would be called prophet.

...Yahweh will raise up unto thee a Prophet from the midst of thee, of thy brethren, like unto me; unto him ye shall hearken. Deuteronomy 18:15 Year 1400 b.C.

...Then those men, when they had seen the miracle that Jesus did, said, This is of a truth that prophet that should come into the world. John 6:14.

The Messiah would give site to the blind, heal the lame, deaf, and mental sick.

...Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. Isaiah 35:5 Year 700 b.C.

...The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Matthew 11:1.

The Messiah would come to bind the brokenhearted preach good tidings unto the meek,  liberty to the captives, and to set free the sinners, etc.

...The Spirit of Yahweh is upon me; because Yahweh hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; To proclaim the acceptable year of  Yahweh. Isaiah 61:1. Year 700 b.C.

...The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them. And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me. Matthew 11:1.

The Messiah would not bring peace but sword. Not the peace the world seeks, but the peace of holiness which is not in humanity.

...For the son dishonoureth the father, the daughter riseth up against her mother, the daughter in law against her mother in law; a man’s enemies are the men of his own house. Therefore I will look unto Yahweh; I will wait for the God of my salvation: my God will hear me. Micah 7:6 Year 735 b.C.

...Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. Matthew 10:34to36.

The Messiah would be the mediator of a new covenant in His blood.

...Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah: Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was a husband unto them, saith Yahweh: But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jeremiah 31:31to34 Year 570 b.C.

...Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar. For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children. But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all. Galatians 4:21.

...And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel. Hebrew 12:24.

The Messiah would be priest according to the order of Melchisedec.

...Yahweh hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. Psalm 110:4 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec. Hebrew 6:20.

The Holy Supper of the Messiah Melchisedec.

...And Melchizedek king of Salem brought forth bread and wine: and he was the priest of the most high God. Genesis 14:18 Year 1400 b.C.

...And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it; For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Matthew 26:26to28.

The Messiah would be the lamb of the Passover, whose blood in the Holy Supper makes us his body and protects us from the destroyer.

...Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the Passover. And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the bason; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning. For Yahweh will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, Yahweh will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to smite you. And ye shall observe this thing for an ordinance to thee and to thy sons for ever. Exodus 12:21 Year 1400 b.C.

...Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing. Revelation 5:12.

...And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Revelation 7:14.

The Messiah would be rejected by His own people.

...He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:3 Year 700 a.C.

...He came unto his own, and his own received him not. But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them. John 1:11&12.

The Messiah would have the wisdom of God.

...And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of Yahweh. Isaiah 11:2 Year 700 b.C.

...And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
Luke 2:52.

The Messiah would enter triumphal in Jerusalem.

...Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion; shout, O daughter of Jerusalem: behold, thy King cometh unto thee: he is just, and having salvation; lowly, and riding upon an ass, and upon a colt the foal of an ass.
Zechariah 9:9 Year 480 b.C. Isaiah 62:10to12.

...Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written. John 12:13&14.

The Messiah would be betrayed by a friend.

...Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me. Psalm 41:9. Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...And Judas Iscariot, one of the twelve, went unto the chief priests, to betray him unto them. Mark 14:10.

The Messiah would be delivered for 30 pieces of silver.

...And it was broken in that day: and so the poor of the flock that waited upon me knew that it was the word of Yahweh. And I said unto them, If ye think good, give me my price; and if not, forbear. So they weighed for my price thirty pieces of silver. Zachariah 11:12 Year 480 b.C.

...And said unto them, What will ye give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver. Matthew 26:15.

The 30 pieces would be brought again to the house of  Yahweh, to the potter.

...And Yahweh said unto me, Cast it unto the potter: a goodly price that I was prised at of them. And I took the thirty pieces of silver, and cast them to the potter in the house of Yahweh. Zachariah 11:13 Year 480 b.C.

...And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful for to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood. And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter’s field, to bury strangers in. Matthew 27:6,7.

The Messiah would be accused by false witness.

...Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. Psalm 27:12 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses, 61And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days. Matthew 26:60,61.

The Messiah would remain silent while accused.

...He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isaiah 53:7 Year 700 b. C.

...And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee? 63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God. Matthew 26:62,63.

The Messiah would be spat and bitten.

...I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
Isaiah 50:6 Year 700 b.C.

...And some began to spit on him, and to cover his face, and to buffet him, and to say unto him, Prophesy: and the servants did strike him with the palms of their hands. Mark 14:65.

The Messiah would be hated without reason.

...They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away. Psalm 69:4 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...He that hateth me hateth my Father also. If I had not done among them the works which none other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father. But this cometh to pass, that the word might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause. John 15:23to 25.

The vicarious sacrifice of the Messiah. He would suffer in our place for our sins to save us.

...Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:4,5 Year 700 b. C.

...When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: 17That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses. Matthew 8:16,17.

The Messiah would agonize in thirst.

...My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death. Psalm 22:15 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. John 19:28.

The Messiah would be crucified with sinners.

...Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. Isaiah 53:12 Year 700 b.C.

...Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left. Matthew 27:38.

The hands and the feet of the Messiah would be pierced.

The Messiah would be insulted and reviled.

...But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people. All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying, He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

...And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads, and saying, thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself. If thou be the Son of God, come down from the cross. Matthew 27:39.

They would give the Messiah gall and vinegar.

..They gave me also gall for my meat; and in my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.

...Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth. John 19:29.

They would mock on the Messiah and the prophecy.

...He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him. Psalm 22:6 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.  

...He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God. Matthew 27:43.

The Messiah would pray for his enemies.

...For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. Psalm 109:4 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots. Luke 23:34.

The Messiah would be abandoned of his disciples and followers.

...Awake, O sword, against my shepherd, and against the man that is my fellow, saith the LORD of hosts: smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered: and I will turn mine hand upon the little ones. Zechariah 13:7 Year 480 b.C.

...And Jesus saith unto them, All ye shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will smite the shepherd, and the sheep shall be scattered. Mark 14:27.

The side of the Messiah would be pierced.

...And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn. Zechariah 12:10 Year 480 b.C.

...But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. John 19:34.

The Messiah would be the spiritual rock that would deliver living waters. He would be injured and hit for it.

...And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with thee of the elders of Israel; and thy rod, wherewith thou smotest the river, take in thine hand, and go. Behold, I will stand before thee there upon the rock in Horeb; and thou shalt smite the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel. Exodus 17:5&6. Year 1400 b.C.

They would gamble on the Messiah's clothes.

...hey part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture. Psalm 22:18 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...And when they had crucified him, they parted his garments, casting lots upon them, what every man should take. Mark 15:24.

The Messiah would be forsaken from God so He would fulfil his vicarious death.

...My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring? Psalm 22:1 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? Matthew 27:46.

The bones of the Messiah would not be broken.

...He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken. 21Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate. Psalm 34:20. Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs: But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. and he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe. For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken. And again another scripture saith, They shall look on him whom they pierced. John 19:33.

The Messiah would deliver His Spirit in the hands of the Father.

...Into thine hand I commit my spirit: thou hast redeemed me, O Yahweh God of truth. Psalm 31:5 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. Luke 23:46.

The death of the Messiah would be of a broken heart. This has been proven by forensics doctors.

...I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels. Psalm 22: 14 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

The Messiah would be sepulchred with the rich.

...And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Isaiah 53:9 Year 700 b.C.

...When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus’ disciple: He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered. And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, and departed. Matthew 27:57to30.

The Messiah would resurrect on the third day.

...After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight. Hoseah 6:2 Year 750 b.C.

...For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Psalm 16:10. Between 1400 & 500 b.C.
 

...He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. Luke 24.6.
...And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Matthew 28:9.

Other dead would rise with the Messiah.

...Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead. Isaiah 26:19 Year 700 b.C.
 

...And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, and came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. Matthew 27:51to53.

The Messiah would ascend again to the Father.

...Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them. Psalm 68:18 Between 1400 & 500 b.C.

...And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them. And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.
Luke 24:50.

The Messiah would sit at the right hand of the Father.

...Yahweh said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool. Psalm 110:1 Between 1400 y 500 b.C.
 

...God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.  Hebrews 1:1to4.

...When they heard these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed on him with their teeth. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Then they cried out with a loud voice, and stopped their ears, and ran upon him with one accord, And cast him out of the city, and stoned him: and the witnesses laid down their clothes at a young man’s feet, whose name was Saul. Acts 7:54to58.

The Messiah would be the precious corner stone and the foundation stone that the builders disallowed, which was the head of the corner.

...Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD, Behold, I lay in Zion for a foundation a stone, a tried stone, a precious corner stone, a sure foundation: he that believeth shall not make haste. Isaiah 28:16 Year 700 b.C.

...Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner. 1Pedro 2:7.

The Messiah would be stone of stumbling for the non believers.

...And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a gin and for a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. Isaiah 8:14 Year 700 b.C.

...And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed. 1Peter 2:8.

The Messiah would be called God's salvation. Yahshua.

...Behold, God is my salvation (Yahweh is Yahshua); I will trust, and not be afraid: for YAH Yahweh is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation. (He also has become my Yahshua). Isaiah 12:2 Year 700 b.C.

...But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit. Matthew 1:20.

The Messiah would be killed before the destruction of the second temple.

...And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary... Daniel 9:26 Year 535 b.C.

...Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent. Matthew 27:50,51.

Israel would loose their blessing for rejecting their Messiah in the time of his visit, who proceeds from Yahweh his God.

...Thus saith the LORD my God; Feed the flock of the slaughter; Whose possessors slay them, and hold themselves not guilty: and they that sell them say, Blessed be the LORD; for I am rich: and their own shepherds pity them not. For I will no more pity the inhabitants of the land, saith the LORD: but, lo, I will deliver the men every one into his neighbour’s hand, and into the hand of his king: and they shall smite the land, and out of their hand I will not deliver them. Zechariah 11:4to6 Year 480 b.C.

...And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. Luke 19:41to44.
 

The Messiah would bring the Holy Spirit.

...Yet now hear, O Jacob my servant; and Israel, whom I have chosen: 2Thus saith the LORD that made thee, and formed thee from the womb, which will help thee; Fear not, O Jacob, my servant; and thou, Jesurun, whom I have chosen. Isaiah 44:1 Year 700 b.C.

...Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged. I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you. All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you. John 16:7to15.

The Messiah is the only possible saviour for man kind.

...I, even I, am Yahweh; and beside me there is no saviour. Isaiah 43:11 Year 700 b.C.

...Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12.
