Jesus Christ has one and
only Church in the whole world, the one He gave His life for on the
Cross, and for which He will return. The Church has been edified by
Jesus Christ upon the faith on His work; faith revealed by the Father to
our spirit by the Holy Spirit. Through this faith we declare, like Peter
said to Jesus: “You
are the Christ, the Son of the living God.” Jesus answered and said to
him – and I follow the teachings of the “Confessions” of St. Augustine
of Hippo – You are Peter (Petrus: rock) and on this rock (the faith in Christ
revealed by the Father) I will build my Church, and the gates of Hades
shall not prevail against it. And I will give you the keys of the
kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in
heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Matthew 16:13-20.
However, we can see that the Church has not remained united throughout the
years. Is Christ divided?. The Bible shows us that this situation is not new:
…Now I plead with you, brethren, by the
name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that
there be no divisions among you, but that
you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same
judgment. 11 For it has been declared to me concerning you,
my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household,
that there are contentions among you. 12 Now I say this, that each of
you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of
Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.” 1
Corinthians 1.
As we
can see in the Bible, the virus of division – due to the flesh, and not the
Spirit – has affected the flesh of Christian leaders and is part of the Church,
until Christ returns. Paul continues by saying:
…For you are still carnal. For where there are envy, strife, and divisions among
you, are you not carnal and behaving like mere men? 4 For when one
says, “I am of Paul,” and another, “I am of Apollos,” are you not carnal?
5
Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed,
as the Lord gave to each one? 6 I planted, Apollos watered,
but God gave the increase. 7 So
then neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but God who gives the
increase. 8 Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each
one will receive his own reward according to his own labor. 9 For
we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.
10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise
master builder I have laid
the foundation, and
another builds on it. But let
each one take heed
how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone
lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver,
precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become
clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the
fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s
work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 1 Corinthians
3.
This
is what Paul announces, that the work of each and every one of us – on the
foundation which is Jesus Christ – will be tested and it will only remain if it
is His, otherwise the fire will burn it. Thus, a Christian must analyze with
honesty the teachings that he receives and the ones he gives, as well as
analyzing his own life and the life of his church.
Even
though the Church is one, holy, catholic (meaning ”universal”), apostolic,
pentecostal, evangelical and messianic; man has used these characteristics and
qualities as a means for division into many denominations, this is what man has
done under the influence of our enemy, the devil, the serpent, and of his own
ego. This division was already prophesized in the Bible, as we have just read,
in different traditions, doctrines and creeds. The Christian person is part of
the Church, which is the Body of Christ, and must make an effort to become part
of a church or congregation where the Holy Doctrine of the Bible is taught and
which may help him to know God through Jesus Christ in a personal relationship,
becoming temple of the Holy Spirit, being born again, John 3:3. The Church that
the Christian should belong to is the one he can consider his spiritual family,
and where his brethren are his best friends, which should resemble the first
church as much as possible, in terms of doctrine, worship, practices and in the
relationship between the brethren and towards the neighbour, in order to fulfill
the Great Commission of Matthew 28 for the Lord’s glory.
The
basis of the doctrine we teach in Yahshua.net can be found in our
Statement of Faith. Our project, vision, mission and objectives can be found in the
information about the Ministry Yahshua.net. Before we go on to explain
who we are, we invite you to read about who we are not, in a brief review of the
history and options of different churches which the Church has been divided
into.
Since
we started working on this website, many Christians have asked us - and continue
to do so - whether we are catholic, protestant or any other type of church. Many
people divide the Church in two: Catholic and Protestant, although this is not
totally correct.
The
church of Rome turned away from the truth because they left the Bible aside and
imposed tradition instead, and this is so obvious that we do not need to provide
any arguments to support it in front of any Christian who sincerely wishes to do
the Lord’s will, he just has to read the Bible and read the history of the
Church. Protestant churches that were created on the Reform of the 16th
century follow many traditions, some of them correct but others not so much,
which are sometimes radical and contradictory, and there is a recent Pentecostal
movement that almost always includes false prophecies and forced supernatural
manifestations, additionally they emphasize emotions in their assemblies and
leave the Sound Doctrine of the Bible in a secondary role. In spite of this, we
can find many brethren inside these churches. How is division possible, then? It
is due to the doctrine through the misleading spiritual leaven and to the desire
of belonging through the flesh, which is a fulfillment of the prophecy in 2Peter
2:1 and 1 John 4:1. We, Christians, must make the temples clean of all leaven; I
refer to the spiritual leaven in the Church in the different churches that
comprise it, so that we all speak the same thing.
This
is not a reason for us, Christians, to create new churches or movements such as
sects, many of them call themselves Christians but they are not, with false
prophets and without recognizing the Deity of the Son of God in the Holy
Trinity, which is obvious in the Bible (witnesses, mormons, scientology, etc.).
Precisely to avoid the danger of sects, it is essential to have good knowledge
of the Bible for those who love God and follow the faith in Christ, as this will
protect them from such groups and they will be able to warn others. When the
true Christian studies the History of the Church sincerely and truthfully he
will find the foundations which he should find in the Church he joins. This is
what the Christians who are part of Yahshua.net have done and practice. These
foundations are as follows:
The
apostles and first Christians obeyed our Lord Jesus Christ in the “Great
Commission”, preaching the Gospel to every nation and founding churches where
they appointed elders “bishops”, supervising them, as Paul did, and helping the
poor. This is how the Church must remain until the end of times, and this is
what Yahshua.net, as a web ministry and members of the Church of Jesus Christ,
work on to teach and practice His doctrine. We appreciate your help in prayer
and telling others about us. The primitive church was baptized in the Holy Spirit and
God’s fire in Pentecost. Every Christian must receive this baptism, with or
without visible signs, which each person will experience inside and those around
will see that he lives a Christian life. ... Your will know them by their fruits
... Matthew 7:16.
Taking into consideration that the Church of Christ is built upon the faith on
the Son of God as our Saviour and not on the person of Peter the Apostle, as we
have mentioned before and as Rome subjectively interprets for their own
benefit, against the history of patristic, with a clear example – amongst many –
in the writings of St. Augustine of Hippo, as well as in other fathers. The
evidence of history on this error has been the great contradictory mistake of different popes which dismantle the lie of their papal infallibility,
and this church has blood-stained hands, which the Lord will allow to be seen to
those who truly obey the Lord rather than obeying men.
Rome
deteriorated the doctrine mixing it with pagan practices and traditions, and
additionally dividing itself in the councils of the Greek or Orthodox Church,
until they made their own “counter-reform” reform only to stay in their own
blind error. With the evidence of history, none of the first Christians, or the
12 apostles, or the Lord Jesus Christ Himself would approve the church of Rome.
They would rather condemn it, as the Lord did with the church in His times: the
Sanhedrin. As Christians, we cannot be part of this church because, as we can
see throughout history, they have been disobeying Jesus Christ, the Word of God,
which totally opposes the tradition imposed by the church of Rome on their
followers. Although many of the first fathers of the Church did believe and
taught the good Way, and in the understanding that in the church that tries to
make the adjective “catholic” (universal) their own, there are many Christians
with good heart and faith and that the Lord will no doubt save them, because of
their love for Christ, even though they cannot see any other way to become part
of the church outside the catholic one, whether out of ignorance, fear, for the
deceiving episcopal structure and the pomposity and for its structure in
general.
The
doctrine now in use was set in the II Vatican Council, and it follows teachings
of men which oppose the Holy Word of God, The episcopal, catholic and
anglican church must be reformed in doctrine and government. The history of the
inquisition, or the anglican killings against the protestants and the battles
amongst many popes ... all these events bring the catholic church into discredit But it is nowadays when, at the
light of the Bible, their doctrine is unsustainable, and this is the main cause
of their full discredit. Needless to say that a Christian in Christ, who obeys His
word, cannot participate in prayers to the saints, or to the multitude of
virgins against the doctrine of Christ as the only mediator between God and man,
John 14:6 and 1Timothy 2:5. God does not approve that Christians take part in
processions, neither in mass, through the teaching of transubstantiation and
denying the wine to the believers. Purgatory does not exist in the Bible.
Confession does not need to be in front of a catholic priest, but before God in
Christ. Mandatory celibacy is a mistake, another prophecy fulfilled which says
that they would be not allowed to marry, 1Timothy 4:3, and precisely the Bible
teaches about the marriage of the bishops in Titus 1:6.
In
the Protestant Reform of the 16th century, Luther found the return to salvation
through faith, only in the work of Christ on the Cross, as opposed to the sale
of indulgences and of self-merit in penitence, showing the lie of the -
anti-Biblical- purgatory. Good works are not merits to be saved through them,
but to live the love of God through them. Luther taught obedience to the Bible,
like in the early days, because the Bible is the Word of God and the ultimate
authority above bishops, elders, pastors and without the need of intercession by
priests, since Jesus Christ is the only Mediator between God and man. 1Timothy
2:5-6. This is why the Bible was translated into German, so that every person
could read it and realize it. Following his example, other reformers translated
it into other vernacular languages, like his contemporary Cardinal Cisneros did
from Toledo, Spain, with the Polyglot Bible. We have the blessing now of having
the Bible available all the time, which we must use in our churches and in our
lives. However, the Lutheran church has preserved many catholic traditions which
we cannot accept.
Calvin took the teachings of Luther and applied a new system of governance of
the Church: the Presbyterian system, of elders, who organize themselves in
territories and make the independence of the local or congregational church
redundant. As opposed to the freedom of choice, he taught about double
predestination of the believer, who does not have the power to choose to be
saved, according to Calvin, but then…how will we respond to the Great Commission
of Matthew 28? God knows who will receive Him, and since faith is a gift from
the Lord, man also has to accept Salvation, because God loves man, and has made
him free, therefore we who love Him are not forced to do so, our heart
belongs to God. The church must be reformed in every aspect that may be
separated from the sound doctrine, practice and life, this is why we have to
refine doctrine beyond Luther and Calvin. Let us carry on in order to explain
who we, Christians, are.
Evangelization must be the main target of the work of the Church, for the glory
of the Lord, for the salvation of souls. The Church is, therefore, evangelical
in its ministry of faith and apostolic doctrine, Baptist (baptism of the adult who
confess their faith, and in the Holy Spirit for personal confirmation inside,
and anointment for the work), and in communion in the Holy Supper of all of its
members who should take bread and wine “in His remembrance”, items that
symbolize the Body and the Blood of Jesus, and which we must take until we do it
again in the Kingdom of Heavens with the Lord. The government of the church is
congregational, independent, but additionally churches need to be in contact
with each other, not to be submitted to the authority of the bishop in each
area, in the episcopal manner and presbyterian in many cases too, but to share
their faith, refine the doctrine, share experiences, support and help one
another and in order to evangelize cities, countries and the whole world,
hospitals praying for the ill, and jails, Hebrews 13:3, help the poor, in
praying, in organization and financially, and every other ministry that may be
of blessing for the Church and the evangelization.
The
Church is also pentecostal in the supernatural gifts of the Lord. Pentecostal
manifestations, prophecies, dreams, revelations, healings, and other
manifestations should not be stopped in the church but they must be used wisely,
without imposing on the brethren the acceptance of what is not subject to the
Sound Doctrine of the Bible, not discriminating those who, for example, do not
speak in tongues, do not interpret dreams, no not heal or do not receive
revelations and prophecies – many of them from doubtful sources. The Church is
Pentecostal in its origin and manifestations when they are truthful and not
pretended, and again we have the Apostles and our Teacher and Lord Jesus
Christ as the example. But love is the greatest gift of all, we can read it in
1Corinthians13. Finally, the Church is Messianic in the hope of the second
coming of the Lord Jesus Christ and on that He will be received by the Jewish
people, according to the prophecy in Romans 11:25-36, who are on their way even
before 1948.
Christians must be part of established churches or meet in their houses with
other brethren, following the example of the church in the Bible. When a church
has become too large to congregate, it must coordinate the local government of
the church in the appropriate way, support the work financially through its
members and have a good pastor and teacher of doctrine, and elders appointed
according to
their fruits. Churches must remain in contact with all the churches that share
the Sound Doctrine, in their area, country and the whole world, as it was done at the
beginning. This is what we do and teach from Yahshua.net. You will know them by
their fruits.
The
type of Christian ecumenism where all the churches accept the doctrine of the
others is not Lord’s will, because it implies accepting all false
doctrines. It is neither the Lord’s to submit them all under the power of Rome
or any other religious organizations. The Church, every church, must filter
their doctrine, governance and way of life through the Bible and study the
history of the Church with a sincere heart. A Christian has the responsibility
of coming out of all false churches that impose traditions, manifestations or
commandments of men that oppose the Sound Doctrine of Christ in the Bible, and
congregate as church with those Christians whom, by their fruits and doctrine,
show the love of Christ. If you decide to do this, you are not alone; there are
many millions of us.
Yahshua.net was created, is written and maintained by current disciples of Jesus
Christ. We are Christians without a denomination and followers of the doctrine
of Jesus Christ, transmitted to the apostles in the Bible. We are simply
Christians. We do not belong to any denomination or sect, because that is the
source of the division in the Body of Christ. A Christian must fight for the
purification, reform and unity of the Church without being submitted to any
denomination or church with a name, although he can also be part of many
denominations where he can see evidence of the above. Yahshua.net is not the
name of a church, it is an internet domain name used to communicate the
teachings of Jesus Christ to all the Christians who are looking for Him through
this media, and for those who are not Christians but are looking for Him., so
that they get to know Him and receive Him personally. As part of the church of
Jesus Christ, we make every effort to live according to the Sound doctrine of
His Word, not accepting man-made traditions or commandments which are
the base of many churches and sects that oppose the Word of God. Our effort and
teaching is for a Church like the first one, in our days and until the return of
our Lord Jesus Christ.
…But as many as received Him, to
them He gave the right to become children of God, to
those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of
the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. John 1:12-13.
Yahshua.net is not a church, it is a website for the glory of Jesus Christ, so
that the internet user gets to know Him also through this media, that provides a
base for study and spiritual growth, for those who are church as well as for
those who do not find the Way, which is and starts in Jesus Christ. The
Christians that are part of this web are also part of the Church in our church,
amongst our brethren.
We
are Children of God through the faith in the redeeming work of Christ, Who
through His Blood cleans our sins, reconciling us with the Father. We have been
bought and made kings and priests for God the Father, as Jesus Christ teaches us
in His Revelation 1:6-7 and we await the return of Jesus Christ for His Church,
Bride, to establish the Kingdom of God for eternity.
Our
King and Holy Priest is Jesus Christ alive, the Son of God, and our Kingdom does
not belong to this world, as Jesus Christ taught us. Yahshua.net is edified in
the faith that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is our Teacher and Saviour, our only intercessor before God the Father, and lives and reigns to the right of
the Father, Who has sent the Holy Spirit, Who guides us every day and governs in
our daily life, as Church and the Church throughout the world. This is the
universal faith. Our church teaches that we have to receive Jesus Christ
personally as savior, to be born again from the Holy Spirit in order to call
Jesus “Lord” and live in a holy manner, stepping away from the worldly uses
and traditions which go against the Lord.
In
our church, we gather every week for fellowship, as part of the Church, to
glorify the Lord, sing praise, study the Bible in its spiritual interpretation
and in comparison with our life today, help the brethren in their needs in life,
in friendship in the love of Christ and to pray and thank the Lord. We take Holy
Supper in our houses, bread and wine. We baptize new brethren in the name of
Jesus Christ and according to Matthew 28, by immersion. We pray for the sick and
use oil as it is shown in the Bible. We help the poor and needed and support the
ministries that prove to be faithful in their work. We agree to fast and pray
for specific people or issues in the Holy Spirit. We do not show partiality for
or against people due to their class, race or social status, and we help those
brethren in their weaknesses who, having sinned, have repented, and we do not
condemn them but help them forgiving them amongst us. We pray and try to recover
those brethren whom, like the prodigal son, have walked away from faith.
We
believe in and accept the gifts from the Spirit, and we look for every gift that
the Lord may want to give us, shown in the Bible. We organize evangelization on
a personal level, in groups and through the media, especially Internet, and we
support all those great evangelistic events that may be of blessing to win souls
for Christ. We pray for Israel so they may receive Yahshua as the Messiah. We
pray for the peace in Jerusalem, and we support and consider our brethren all
those Messianic ministries that take the Gospel of Yahshua to the Jews. If our
experience has been useful to you and you wish to implement it in your
congregation we will be pleased to pray for you in the name of Jesus Christ,
because all of us who think and act this way are part of the Church of Jesus
Christ.
About our history,
those of us who started this task of evangelization and spiritual growth in the
Internet, back in 1997, received the vision of the spiritual interpretation of
the Bible, in line with the parables of the Teacher, as a fundamental essential
tool for spiritual growth for the Christians of our times, as we face the
variety of doctrines of churches in the world and the hunger for true knowledge
of the Lord and the Bible in their true spiritual depth, to be applied
personally to the construction of our inner temple, where the Spirit of the Lord
can live. The results have been of great blessing for the brethren who have
followed and continue to follow the spiritual teaching of the Bible, getting to
live like mature Christians, wherever they may go.
Therefore, we are born-again Christians through the faith which the Holy Spirit
gives us to call Jesus “Lord”, and in the sacrifice on the Cross of the Son of
God, and to follow the Way to God, following the steps of the first friends of
God like Abraham, and of the first Apostles, because the Lord is: …He
who descended is also the One who
ascended
far above all the heavens, that He might fill all things.)11
And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and
some pastors and teachers, 12
for the
equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body
of Christ, 13 till
we all come
to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to
a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14
that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with
every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of
deceitful plotting, 15 but,
speaking the
truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ—
16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together
by what every joint supplies, according to the effective
working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body
for the edifying of itself in love…Taken
from the letter of our brother, the apostle Paul, to the Ephesians 4:10 to 16.
We
would really like that all the Church worldwide reflected this Bible Text. In
the meantime and until the Lord comes we support those evangelistic movements
that the Holy Spirit does through the media, such as evangelization campaigns,
Christian concerts, universities, preaching in Christian TVs and Internet. We
promote humanitarian aid, the help to the poor. If you cannot participate, pray
earnestly for them and for their faith. In this section, that you can find in
the home page, we link to ministries of help to those rejected by society, for the poor, the sick, catastrophes, prisoners, etc. They can help you
to join in different campaigns, volunteering, donations and prayer. We are not
part of the organization of these ministries but we do know their work and
support them as Christians. May the Lord bless you when you help those in need
…But
whoever has this world’s goods, and sees his brother in need, and shuts up his
heart from him,
how does the love of
God abide in him?.
1John 3:17.
And finally, if you
do not know a church where they receive you with brotherly kindness in the love
of Christ, if you try your best but you have not found it, neither one where
they teach the Bible in its Sound Doctrine, spiritually and in depth, write to
us and we will guide you and teach you the Bible whilst helping you to find it.

THINK
ABOUT THIS!
The
Kingdom of the Lord is coming, Jesus Christ returns and brings the great day of
resurrection of the dead. Are you ready and in peace with God?
Are
you sure about your salvation when you resurrect or are raptured, or are you
still trying to achieve it? Do you know the Lord? Have you received Jesus
Christ, the Son of God, as your Savior? The faith on His sacrifice n the Cross,
His blood, shed to pay for our sins, resurrecting and giving us the Holy Spirit,
is the Way to Eternal Life in the Kingdom of the Lord when He returns in His
Kingdom. Do you want to live with the Lord in His Kingdom for eternity, or spend
it in the hell of fire, far away from Him and from the ones you love in Christ?
Have you been born again? Is the temple of the Holy Spirit in you?
PRAYER TO RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST
Father, I confess myself a sinner, because I have lived without You. I need to
be saved for eternity by your mercy, and I don't deserve receiving you. I accept
Christ's sacrifice to forgive all my sins; by the precious Blood which you shed
on the cross for me. I need you Lord, I give You my life, I open my heart so you
can come in now with your Holy Spirit and become my Lord forever. I give myself
to you with all my heart; You know my heart, Lord. Lord, I want to know The
Bible, Your Word, and I want You to teach me to all the truth, so nobody can
ever mislead me, and know Your will, and live with You, from today until
eternity, and with those who are your children, in the name of Jesus Christ,
Yahshua. Amen.
