"...For
God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever
believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life". John 3:16.
How did Jesus Christ become Man? The genetics of the "Son of God" is a
mistery. But the Bible tells of the blood that God accepted for the
expiation of the sin of the world, of those that have faith in the work of
the Son of God. But if Jesus was born of a woman and inherited the genetics
of his earthly mother, who was virgin, how did he acquire the other half of
genetics that a father provides? Child Jesus is the "only begotten Son"
of the Father, of God himself, of His same genetics; how is that genetic
half human and half divine? "And the Word became
flesh, and dwelt among us..." John 1:14.
We all know the story of Jesus Christ on earth,
as the Gospels in the Bible tell us, His coming was prophesised by the
prophets from very early in the Old Testament, and how He is the leading
role of the New Testament. That He would come from the Father and would be
born of a woman, and that she would be virgin, which to begin with is a
miracle, something uncommon. That He would be persecuted, that He would
bring the message that changes human heart, and that He would give His life
as expiation for sin –human corruption, life separated from God– so that we
could go to the new creation, uncorrupted, with a genetic with no defects,
incorruptible, immortal and with which to go to His perfect and eternal
Kingdom.
GENETIC INHERITANCE AND THE
BLOOD OF CHRIST
From the Greek "monogenés" only son,
begotten, John 1:14. The matter of the genetic of Jesus Christ is relevant
for certain aspects, although it does not change the result of our faith and
of His redeeming work on the Cross. What is very relevant is to see how
Jesus dominated the dimension space-time, how He could transfigure (Matthew
17) to a different appearance, how He could heal genetic illnesses (Luke
18:35), how He could dominate the powers of nature (Mark 4:35).
For Biblical Christians, Jesus Christ is the
Creator, and therefore omnipotent and omnipresent. We know that, Who was
with the Father in the Creation "Genesis 1:26", was Him. Who appeared to
Abraham, to Moses and the prophets, was Him. And who became flesh limited to
live among us, was Him. Who gave His life because He had the power to give
it for us, to give His expiatory blood, to die in the instant He chose to,
was Him. Who raised from the dead, challenging the laws of genetics and of
the flesh, was Him. Who could go through walls and appeared with the human
body that had the wounds and the marks of crucifixion and torture, was Him.
Who ascended to Heaven and who will come in His Kingdom, is Him. All those
proofs of power of Christ are not possible under a genetic like ours, a
divine genetic is needed, called the begotten Son of the Father.
Therefore, Yahshua had the 23 pairs of
chromosomes that
are in each of our cells, and that are needed for a human being to live. For
Jesus Christ to have a human body He needed the mitochondria that is
inherited from mothers –the one from man is not inherited– which permits for
man to remain alive –although God could have a made a body like the one of
Adam– but He decided to receive our same condition, Hebrews 2:14. Jesus, as
well as this mitochondria from His earthly mother, would receive another
mitochondria from the Father, being the only human being in history to
receive this mitochondria, something similar to Adam, and Jesus is called
the "second Adam". Therefore He had half of the genes of His human mother,
and half of the genes of His divine Father. This totally unique event is
what the angel Gabriel announced to Mary, virgin, of the tribe of Judah from
the house of David, betrothed to a man called Joseph, also of the tribe of
Judah and of the house of David, in Nazareth, when he said:
"Rejoice, highly favoured one,
the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women... ...Do not be afraid
Mary, for you have found favour with God. And behold, you will conceive in
your womb and bring forth a Son, and shall call His name "Jesus-Yahshua". He
will be great, and will be called the Son of the Highest; and the Lord God
will give Him the throne of His father David. And He will reign over the
house of Jacob forever, and of His kingdom there will be no end. Then Mary
said to the angel: How can this be, since I do not know a man? And the angel
answered and said to her: "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the
power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, the Holy One
who is to be born will be called the Son of God. Now indeed, Elizabeth your
relative has also conceived a son in her old age, and this is the sixth
month for her who was called barren. "For with God nothing is impossible."
Then Mary said, "Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me
according to your word." And the angel departed from her. Luke 1:28-38.
Two sons are born miraculously in this story.
The first, the cousin of Jesus, John, the Baptist, of his barren and old
mother, God changes the body of Elizabeth. And Jesus Christ, of his virgin
mother, where God adds His genetics.
On the other hand we have human blood, that has
inheritable characteristics of DNA. There are many speculations about the
type of blood of Jesus, and most theologians and investigators, as well as
the secret code of the Bible refer to AB+, but further more than its
relevance of being a common type in Jews, as Mary was, the question is that
the blood of Christ would have components inherited from Mary and her
lineage of the tribe of Judah, and others direct from his Father from the
Spirit that no human inheritance at all. A special blood, that of Christ,
and we know that the Bible teaches that life is in the blood. But in the
case of the Blood of Christ, was holy and perfect life, genetically speaking
and the incorruptible spiritual life of the Son of God.
"And He has made from one blood
every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has
determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings,
"so that they should seek they Lord, in the hope that they might grope for
Him an find Him, though He is not far from each one of us." Acts 17:26-27.
HIS BEGOTTEN SON...
Christian anthropology provides us the
knowledge that relates Jesus Christ with man, and the story of man since his
creation. The anthropology of the begotten and ours go by the hand. But
behold, God sent His begotten Son "of The Father" with a genetics that
dominates human genetics, for it is that of the Creator of DNA, the
biological building blocks that God designed for us, a DNA that Adam and Eve
received and that when they rebelled against God started to deteriorate from
generation to generation. DNA that Christ dominates, corrects, changes,
perfects, sanctifies and makes heavenly so we can live eternally like Him,
and with Him, for all those that love Him, but not for those who do not want
to be with Him. God has given us His only Son, He gave us all He had. The
heart of God is for us, therefore there is no excuse not to love Him, no
matter how hard our lives may be, there is a new hope, a new life, another
life, another opportunity, another genetic, other circumstances. His purpose
and what God has made is to give us a second opportunity as humanity without
sin, and once His Kingdom is established wants that we are there to enjoy
it. For that we need a new body with a new genetic, the one of the risen and
glorified body, like the one of Jesus Christ. Do you want that new body and
to live eternally in the Kingdom of God? Do you want your loved ones to be
there too? Receive Jesus
Christ in your heart today and share it with your loved ones.
But the final conclusion is that the genetics
of Jesus Christ, human and divine, has been the bridge to reveal us God, for
Jesus is the image of God alive. And "the Word became flesh and dwelt among
us... ...No one has seen God at any time. "The only begotten Son who is in
the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him. Him of whom those would say:
...suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying: "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace,
goodwill toward men!" Luke 2:13-14.
"For
unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have
I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me
a Son? 6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the
world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7And
of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a
flame of fire. 8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O
God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the
sceptre of thy kingdom. 9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated
iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the
oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10And, Thou, Lord, in the
beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the
works of thine hands: 11They shall perish; but thou remainest;
and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12And as a vesture
shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same,
and thy years shall not fail. 13But to which of the angels said
he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy
footstool? 14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to
minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation? Hebrews 1:5-14.
Jesus Christ entered the "kosmos" that He created,
that which man corrupted, but that which Jesus will transform in a new
perfect creation. To live in that new creation we need a new body, a new
incorruptible genetic, holy and perfect, the one of the risen and glorified
body, like the one of Jesus Christ.
Know and receive the genetics of Him who gave His life to
give us eternal life in His Kingdom, where genetic is perfect and eternal.
God offers to us the genetics of Jesus Christ, yes, a new body without
inheritable illnesses, that does not get old, that does not dye, that lives
happily in the presence of God and of those who love Him, and this is
possible by faith in Jesus Christ.
Do you know Jesus Christ?
"Merry Christmas". Amen.
